School Counsellor
麻豆国产AV wishes to appoint two dynamic, suitably qualified applicants to the position of School Counsellor. Consideration will be given to full time applicants and part time applicants (0.4 - 0.6FTE). Both vacancies are ongoing positions and commence in Term 2.
The preferred candidates will be enthusiastic and keen to engage with 麻豆国产AV students and their families. Our services are based on a continuum of care model, based on the Framework for Student Support Services in Victorian Schools.
The successful applicants:
* Will have knowledge and experience in counselling particularly in relation to working with adolescents and their families
* Will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
* Will have experience in developing and implementing programs which meet the needs of specific groups of students
* Will have excellent communication skills
* Will have the ability to work successfully within a team
* Will have qualifications appropriate to the role
* Will have an understanding of Ministerial Order 1359 on Child Safety as it relates to the College鈥檚 Code of Conduct, policies, procedures and practice.
* Will be able to demonstrate a professional standard of practice in line with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) standards and code of ethics and/or the Australian Counselling Associations (ACA) or similar bodies.
* Will have a current Working with Children Check, National Police Check or be willing to undertake these
